We are back!

I realized a couple weeks ago that it had been since September that we had updated the blog. I thought to myself, if I have not posted anything and had not missed it then why bother? I have had the idea on my mind of just quitting the blog altogether until just yesterday. I pulled up the blog and got lost looking at old posts. The kids came home from school and Carter was so into doing the same thing. For that reason, that my family will cherish having the blog to look back at, that I will start posting again.

Now because I am somewhat OCD I will be picking up where I left off. I will be back dating the posts and going in order so bear with me as I catch up :) Scroll down to see the new stuff even though it is old!

We invited my sister, her kids and my mom over to bake with us. It was a lot of fun and we ended the day at my step-sister's wedding! Congrats Megan and Ronnie!!!!

Chicago/Thanksgiving

Before heading to Missouri for Thanksgiving, we decided to spend a night in Chicago. We were able to visit our favorite pizza place and do some shopping.

We were able to get a reservation at the Palmer House which is the oldest operating hotel in the country. Matt was thrilled to be able to stay there. It is a beautiful hotel for sure.







We did some sightseeing too.






We then headed to Missouri to spend Thanksgiving with family.

End of another soccer season

At the end of the soccer season, we had a party for the team at our house. The girls had a great time celebrating a great season!

Halloween

Once again, we had a safe and fun Halloween. We had a group of family over to go Trick or Treating with and the kids had a lot of fun. The weather was great!
