Maple syrup

We took the kids to Blanchard Nature Center to do the Sugarbush Tour. They learned how to make Maple Syrup and they were really interested in it. They wanted to buy the tools to tap their own trees but we didn't do that. It was very inexpensive and we all learned a lot. The kids were able to participate in the tour so they stayed interested because it was an hour long.

Here they are learning how to drill the hole through the bark.



We learned the history behind making sugar/maple syrup.






We got to taste the final product. Yum!!!!
